What do I need to get started?

To get started with JD CDL INC, you need to have A valid driver’s license and A current CDL learner’s permit. You must also pass our ELDT Theory Course prior to the 1st day of training.

What types of CDL courses do you offer?

JD CDL INC, currently offers classes for Class A (automatic and manual) and Class B manual.

Do you provide the vehicle to train and test with?

We currently have Class A vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions and a Class B vehicle with a manual transmission.

How long does the training take before I can test?

Our training is one-on-one and is based on the student’s progress. It is possible to be proficient to test within a week, however, most students complete all the requirements within two weeks. You must pass our ELDT Theory Course prior to the 1st day of training.

What type of payment methods do you take?

We currently take cash, debit and credit card payments.

Is there any guaranteed that I will pass and get my CDL?

We adhere to the federal and state standards for entry level driver training. There is no guarantee you will pass, but our dedicated trainers strive for excellence and will make sure of proficiency before your exam. You have to earn your CDL.

Will I have any restrictions if I test in an automatic transmission?

If you test with an automatic transmission, you will receive a restriction that only allows you to drive an automatic transmission vehicle.

What are the age requirements to get a CDL?

You must be 18 or older to get a CDL. If you are under the age of 21, you will be restricted to driving in your state of residence only.

If I already have a lot of experience, can I just schedule a test without going through your training program?

No. Due to the federal regulations, everyone must complete entry level drivers training including our ELDT Theory Course and behind the wheel training.
